I keep Andi Mae in the afternoons after school, and it's been working out great! She's a little doll, and she just falls right into our little schedule nicely. I go pick all four girls up at 11:45 each day, we come back and have lunch, then they go down for a nap at about 1:00. They sleep until 3:30, we have a snack, watch a show, and it's time for her parents to pick her up. Andi Mae has a little nap mat she sleeps on in my room.
The girls are learning all kinds of things at school. They sing songs ALL the time. There's a song for when they walk down the hall, when they wait in line to go to the bathroom, etc. They even have a little saying, "You get what you get, and you don't thow a fit!" I love it! I use that one ALL the time now! They've learned about Alexander Alligator (the Letter A), Betsy Bee (B), and Connie Cow (C). They've also studied apples, a few colors, and had a field trip to the fire station. Unfortunately, my girls were all really sick last week and had to miss the field trip :( They do lots of painting, coloring, and crafts.
Needless to say, I'm still very happy with all they've learned at school, and our new little schedule. I think the girls are very happy with it too. Their teacher, Miss Stephanie, says they do really well. She says they all play on their own, and don't have to always be together. She said Abby is especially good about doing things on her own.
